Morocco Launches Online Criminal Record System and Digital Justice Services

The Ministry of Justice proceeded on Tuesday to the launch of four new digital services, including the electronic criminal record.
Among the new services launched on Tuesday is the electronic criminal record, the new presentation of which meets the requirements and suggestions of court users. From now on, the request and withdrawal can be done online.
The Ministry of Justice has also launched the electronic reference portal of judicial personnel. Citizens now have access to a database of all lawyers, notaries, experts and translators, among others. They will be able to easily have a reliable and up-to-date reference.
The third service put online is that of electronic payment of fines for road traffic offenses detected by fixed radar. With this service, road users can consult the recorded offenses just with their national identity card. The last service is a call center to allow citizens to be in permanent contact with all the actors of the judicial system, who could guide them if necessary, towards the various services provided by the Ministry of Justice. These new electronic services are available on the website www.mahakim.ma.
