Morocco Digitizes Court Services to Combat COVID-19 Spread

The Ministry of Justice also intends to act to fight the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), by limiting as much as possible the attendance of courts. Thus, many documents can now be obtained directly online, according to a press release from the ministry.
These are certificates of commercial register and criminal record, the consultation of court files and related procedures as well as the filing of requests for the creation of companies. All these services can be obtained remotely by electronic means. As for court files, they can be consulted on the mahakim.ma portal.
The Ministry of Justice, in the concern to protect the health of court officials and litigants, calls on all citizens to obtain these services electronically, and not to go on site to avoid congestion and thus the risks of contamination.
