Morocco to Acquire Advanced Israeli Electronic Warfare System for Enhanced Defense

Morocco wants to acquire the electronic warfare system "Alinet" from the Israeli international company Elbit. It will allow the collection of radar signal intelligence and the determination of the frequencies of air defense systems.
"Such units will create a complete passive picture on the ground and in the air and provide an electronic warfare system, which will enable an effective response to air and ground threats," the Israeli company said in a statement, specifying that it will provide the EW and SIGINT ground units.
The "Alinet" system, equipped with electronic support measures, electronic countermeasures and command and control systems, should allow the kingdom to collect radar and electromagnetic signal intelligence and determine the frequencies emitted by air defense systems.
