Morocco Launches Massive Police Recruitment Drive, Seeking 6,600 Officers

The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has announced a major recruitment competition for various ranks within the police force. The competition will take place on July 16 in Rabat and in other cities if necessary. A total of 6,607 police officers will be recruited in accordance with the budgetary positions provided for the Ministry of the Interior for the year 2023.

Candidates can apply for 130 police commissioner positions, 250 officer positions, 50 peace officer positions, 2,050 police inspector positions and 4,127 police guard positions. Interested and eligible persons can register online on the "concours.dgsn.gov" platform from April 29 to May 11. Paper application files must be submitted to the DGSN services no later than May 12, reports Le360.

The DGSN is also organizing a competition for the recruitment of 30 senior executives in various branches of medicine and specialties related to new technologies, such as networks, programming and data analysis. This competition will take place on July 23.
