Morocco to Recruit 6,000 New Police Officers in September

The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) announces that it has scheduled several competitions for the month of September to recruit 6,000 agents of different ranks.
In recent months, various recruitments have been launched within the civil service and will continue, as the police have decided to launch this month of September, a massive recruitment of police officers of different ranks. The competition will take place on September 25, 2022 for the enrollment of 3,838 peace officers (scale 5), 1,450 police inspectors (scale 6), 80 peace officers (scale 8), 420 police officers (scale 8) and 68 police commissioners (scale 10), reports Aujourd’hui Le Maroc.
The Ministry of Justice also plans to recruit 250 judicial assistants (scale 10). The competition will be held on October 30. The Ministry of Health, and other ministerial departments have also planned recruitment competitions before the end of the year. Information on the various recruitment competitions can be found on the employment-public.ma portal.
Regarding the DGSN competitions, interested candidates must be between 21 and 30 years old for all positions except for the commissioner position where the age varies between 21 and 35 years. For the positions of police officer, inspector and police commissioner, men must measure 1.70 m and 1.67 m for women. For the positions of officers and peace officers, men must measure 1.73 m. Candidates for the various positions are required to have good visual acuity and good hearing acuity.
The applicant for the position of police commissioner must hold a law degree or a diploma from the ENA. As for those who aspire to the position of police officer and peace officer, they must have at least a DEUG. For those who want to be inspectors, at least the validation of the first year of university is required. For the position of peace officer, only the baccalaureate is required.
