Morocco Launches Massive Police Recruitment Drive, Offering 6,500 New Positions

The General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) is launching a large-scale recruitment campaign to strengthen its workforce. Nearly 6,500 positions are to be filled, covering a variety of grades and functions within the national police.
Interested candidates will be able to try their luck as of October 20 in exams organized in Rabat and other cities if necessary.
The positions to be filled are distributed as follows: 90 commissioners, 400 officers, 50 peace officers, 2,500 police inspectors and 3,437 police officers. A second competition, dedicated to the recruitment of 46 senior commissioners, will take place on October 27.
In accordance with the laws in force, a quarter of the positions will be reserved for former combatants, former military personnel, former resistance fighters and wards of the nation.
