Morocco Launches Massive Police Recruitment Drive for 7,858 New Officers

Recruitment competitions for 7,858 agents are being organized on Monday, December 28 by the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN. They will take place in the various police ranks for the 2020 fiscal year.
In detail, the DGSN wants to recruit 100 police commissioners, 800 police officers, 70 peace officers, 2,384 inspectors and 4,504 peace officers, according to a press release. According to the same document, the DGSN has reserved 25% of these positions for candidates with the status of resistance fighter, orphan of the nation, former military or former combatant.
In addition, they will first have to meet the legal conditions provided for in Article 21 of its statutes, including a visual acuity of 10/15 without glasses or lenses and good hearing ability as well as other physical and mental abilities.
