Morocco Launches CNSS Allowance Portal for Employers Affected by COVID-19

To benefit from a monthly lump-sum allowance from the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) during the period from March 15 to June 30, 2020, two important steps must be taken by the employer on the dedicated portal.
The portal is accessible to the employer thanks to the link: "covid19.cnss.ma" on his browser. If he is a member of the Damancom portal, the system will invite him to enter his login and password. If the employer is not a member of Damancom, the portal will be able to assist him in creating the account and he will receive his login and password by email.
After this step, there is the step of entering the data relating to the personnel on temporary work stoppage. At this level, the portal will present the employer with the list of employees declared for the month of February 2020. The business owner will therefore have to proceed with the selection of the personnel on temporary stoppage on this list. But first, the employer is invited to formalize on the portal, his declaration on honor and certify that the total or partial cessation of his activity is induced by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The employer who provides any non-compliant declaration is exposed to the sanctions provided for by the legislation in force.
In addition, the selected personnel on the list will receive the lump-sum allowance at the end of each month of the period concerned and will benefit from family allowances and health insurance. As for the allowance, it is broken down as follows: 1,000 DH for the month of March and 2,000 dirhams for the months of April, May and June.
