Morocco Extends Social Security Payment Deadline for Pandemic-Hit Businesses

The postponement of contributions to the National Social Security Fund (CNSS) is now planned for the period from March 1 to June 30 for companies in difficulty due to the pandemic.
The National Social Security Fund (CNSS) has launched the postponement of the payment of social security contributions for the period from March 1 to June 30, 2020 for companies in difficulty due to the covid-19 pandemic.
The request to postpone these contributions, decided by the Economic Monitoring Committee, must be submitted before each due date (i.e. before the 10th of each month following the due month), over the entire period.
The affiliate is therefore invited to submit his request to postpone the payment of contributions by checking, on the covid19.cnss.ma portal, the "declaration on honor" box, certifying his state of financial difficulty caused by the covid-19 pandemic.
As for the granting of the waiver, it will be done automatically, as soon as the full payment of the contributions is observed before the 8-month deadline following the date of declaration of the end of the health crisis.
