Morocco’s King Takes Charge of Repatriating 27,000 Citizens Stranded Abroad

King Mohammed VI is said to have taken the file of Moroccan nationals stranded abroad from Foreign Minister Nasser Bourita and entrusted it to the Minister of the Interior and his Personal Advisor.
The information, relayed by the site Kech24, would give new hope to the 27,000 Moroccans who have been waiting for nearly 2 months to return to the kingdom. The operation should, however, receive the approval of the Committee.
Stranded in several countries around the world since the closure of borders by the Moroccan government, Moroccan citizens, the majority of whom had left for a short stay, have lost all hope of reuniting with their loved ones.
Certain elements are confusing, specifies the site, which wonders about the exceptional authorizations granted by the government to foreign countries for the needs of repatriating their compatriots, while at the same time, it still fails to do so for its nationals.
