Morocco’s King Sends Condolences to Lebanon Following Beirut Port Explosion

King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to the Lebanese president, following the explosion that occurred in the port of Beirut.
In this message, the Moroccan sovereign expressed to Michel Aoun, the grieving families and the Lebanese people, "his heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion". He implores the mercy of the Almighty to welcome the victims in His holy abode, and to grant the Lebanese president as well as the families of the victims "patience and comfort and a speedy recovery to the injured".
The King assures that the Kingdom of Morocco "stands constantly by the side of the brotherly Lebanese people in these moments of intense pain. Mohammed VI implores the Almighty to preserve Lebanon from any misfortune in the future and to ensure its security, tranquility and stability.
