Lebanese Artists Thank Morocco's King for Aid After Beirut Blast

Lebanese artists have expressed their gratitude to King Mohammed VI for the emergency humanitarian and medical aid received by the Lebanese people in the aftermath of the double explosion that occurred in the port of the capital Beirut on August 4.

During a visit to the military field hospital deployed in Lebanon on the orders of the sovereign, the Lebanese artist Walid Taoufiq expressed his deep and sincere gratitude to King Mohammed VI and Morocco, for this solidarity initiative which contributes greatly to relieving the suffering of the Lebanese, reported the MAP. According to him, Morocco is at the forefront of the countries that have responded favorably to the call for aid launched by the Lebanese authorities. For him, the Moroccan initiative is a model to follow in terms of the values of human solidarity.

The aid and medical services provided by the military field hospital will have a positive impact on the Lebanese who suffer from the lack of health infrastructure destroyed by the explosions, said for his part the Lebanese comedian Dabouz Dabouz.

The Lebanese artists Najwa Karam, Assi Al Hillani, Melhem Zeine, Wissam El Al Amir, Wael Jassar also thanked the sovereign for his generosity towards Lebanon.
