Moroccan King’s Aid to Lebanon Draws Praise from Lebanese Artists and Officials

Since the dispatch of humanitarian and medical aid to Lebanon, Lebanese stars have not spared praise on King Mohammed VI for his "great generosity".
Eight planes were sent by Morocco to Lebanon following the double explosion that turned Beirut into ruins and killed 150 people and injured nearly 6,000. The Sovereign has also given his instructions for the deployment of a military field hospital.
"I would like to express my deep gratitude and great esteem, on behalf of the Lebanese government, for the generous initiative of King Mohammed VI, who ordered the urgent dispatch of aid to Lebanon," said a senior Lebanese official at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stressing that by sending such significant assistance, the kingdom is not deviating from its reputation as a brotherly country.
For their part, the Lebanese stars, Carole Samaha, Dalila Khalil and Amer Zayan, took the time to thank the Sovereign for his initiative, specifying that by sending humanitarian and medical aid, Mohammed VI has shown generosity and great concern for the Lebanese people.
