Morocco Sends Massive Aid to Beirut, Establishes Field Hospital After Deadly Explosions

King Mohammed VI has ordered the dispatch of nearly a dozen planes loaded with aid to Beirut. This significant support from the Kingdom comes the day after the explosions that rocked Lebanon.
These Moroccan aids have been sent to Beirut, says the Moroccan ambassador to Lebanon M’hamed Grine. In detail, these planes, including 4 military and 4 civilian, left Casablanca, reports Lebanese Forces.
This represents a total of 295 tons of basic foodstuffs, 10 tons of medicines and 11 tons of medical equipment and equipment exclusively for Covid-19. In addition, a military medical team is responsible for setting up a field hospital on site to provide care for the victims of the explosions.
More than 72 hours after the two deadly explosions, which have resulted (according to the latest report) in 137 deaths and more than 5,000 injured, Lebanon is still counting its victims. According to the Moroccan embassy in Lebanon, the toll within the Moroccan community shows one seriously injured and a few other minor injuries.
