King Mohammed VI Mourns Passing of Moroccan Theater Icon Touria Jabrane

For the Moroccan sovereign, Morocco has lost an outstanding artist and actress who tirelessly worked to promote the theater and film arts. While expressing to the family members and the great cultural and artistic family his heartfelt condolences and sincere compassion, Mohammed VI implores the Almighty to grant them patience and comfort.

The King recalled the many qualities of the deceased, especially the dedication and selflessness she displayed in the exercise of her government functions, and the values of sincere patriotism. He implores the Most High to reward her in proportion to her qualities, to surround her with His holy mercy, and to welcome her into His vast paradise.
