Morocco’s King Sends Condolences to Algeria’s President on Death of Former Leader

The day after the death of the former Algerian head of state, Abdelkader Bensalah, King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences to the Algerian President, Abdelmajid Tebboune.
In his message, the King said he had learned with deep sorrow and deep emotion the news of the passing of the former President of the People’s Democratic Republic of Algeria.
On this painful occasion, King Mohammed VI expresses to the Algerian President and, through him, to the family of the deceased and to the brotherly Algerian people, his heartfelt condolences and sincere compassion, imploring the Almighty to welcome the deceased among the righteous and to reward him for the services rendered to his homeland.
The Sovereign implores the Most High to grant patience and comfort to the Algerian President.
