Moroccan King Sends Condolences for Passing of Labor Union Pioneer Noubir Amaoui

Following the death on Tuesday in Casablanca of Noubir Amaoui, former secretary general of the Democratic Confederation of Labor (CDT), King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences and compassion to his family and friends.
In his message, the Moroccan sovereign states that he learned with deep affliction the news of the death of Noubir Amaoui. He implores the Most High to surround with His holy mercy this great trade unionist, founder and former secretary general of the CDT.
King Mohammed VI expresses to the members of the deceased’s family and through them, his large trade union and political family, his deepest condolences and his sincere feelings of compassion. He retains from Noubir Amaoui, a committed man who dedicated his life to serving the issues of the working class and establishing the foundations of trade union action in Morocco.
While recalling that through his trade union commitment, the deceased defended the supreme interests of the Homeland, with an unwavering commitment and an unshakable attachment to the constants of the Nation and its sacred values, the king implores the Almighty to grant patience and comfort to the family of the deceased and to welcome him in His vast paradise among His virtuous servants and to reward him abundantly for his good deeds in the service of the Homeland.
