Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Mourns Queen Elizabeth II as ’Special Friend’ of Nation

Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolences to Prince Charles, now Charles III, King of the United Kingdom.
Addressing the new king, the Moroccan sovereign states that he learned with "deep sadness of the passing of Your mother, Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. May she rest in peace," expressing in His name, and in that of the Royal Family and the Moroccan people, to HM King Charles III, to all the members of the august royal family and to the British people His sincere condolences and His deep sympathy.
For King Mohammed VI, Morocco has lost a "very special dear friend who was deeply respected," adding that Queen Elizabeth II "was particularly keen to strengthen the long-standing friendship between our two centuries-old monarchies".
