During this audience, King Mohammed VI received the two new ministers Saaid Amzazi and Othman El Firdaouss, in the presence of the Head of Government, Saad Dine El Otmani. Like the king, the three other members of the government also wore the health mask.
In accordance with the provisions of Article 47 of the Constitution, and on the proposal of the Head of Government, the sovereign assigned the functions of government spokesperson to Saaid Amzazi, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research and appointed Othman El Firdaouss as Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
Note that the wearing of masks is now mandatory since March 7 for Moroccans who leave their homes in case of emergency.
