Morocco’s King Appoints New Government Spokesman and Culture Minister

On Tuesday, April 7, 2020, King Mohammed VI received, at the royal palace in Casablanca, the ministers Saaid Amzazi and Othman El Firdaouss. This was in the presence of the Head of Government, Saâdeddine El Otmani.
The sovereign appointed Saaid Amzazi, Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, as the new government spokesman. As for Othman El Firdaouss, the king appointed him Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
The two personalities thus share the functions of Hassan Abyaba who was until then Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports.
