King Mohammed VI has flown to France this week for a private visit he is making to the country.
According to sources cited by the site Barlamane.com, the Moroccan sovereign is on a private visit to France since Wednesday, September 18.
The visit of the King of Morocco comes after the thawing of relations between the two countries, following the decision of French President Emmanuel Macron to recognize the Moroccanness of the Sahara, following the example of many countries, including the United States and Spain.
The last visit of the Moroccan monarch dates back to last April when the king had traveled there to visit his mother, Lalla Latifa, who was hospitalized in the capital.
