Morocco’s King Mohammed VI Arrives in Côte d’Ivoire for Private Visit

King Mohammed VI traveled to Côte d’Ivoire on Wednesday, November 20 for a private stay of a few days. He landed at Abidjan airport in the early evening.
The information, as communicated by the website Tel Quel, states that the Sovereign will take up residence in a private property made available to VIP guests.
In 2017, Mohammed VI had made a stopover in Côte d’Ivoire for a "visit of friendship and work", as part of an African tour he had begun in Mali. He had attended the opening of a Moroccan-Ivorian forum and visited a Moroccan real estate project.
Without giving more details on the Sovereign’s agenda, the site specifies that the President of Côte d’Ivoire, Alassane Ouattara, is currently in Berlin to attend the G20 Compact with Africa.
