Morocco’s King Congratulates Spain’s Sanchez, Reaffirms Strategic Partnership
Following the re-election of Pedro Sanchez by deputies last Tuesday, the Moroccan sovereign addressed his warm congratulations to him. Through this election, Mohammed VI renewed his confidence in the new leader who, in his view, will serve the aspirations of the Spanish people for further progress and prosperity.
The Moroccan sovereign notably expressed to the new Spanish leader "his sincere wishes for success in his high office".
Moreover, Mohammed VI stressed Morocco’s willingness to consolidate its constructive strategic partnership with the Kingdom of Spain. The two countries, in fact, maintain strong ties of friendship and mutual esteem, notes the Map. Without forgetting the enormous historical heritage that unites them.
Furthermore, Mohammed VI did not hide his interest in strengthening the approach of the two countries in the conduct of regional and international issues of common interest, in the service of the two peoples.
Reinstated in power, after narrowly winning a vote of confidence in the Chamber of Deputies, the Spanish socialist, Pedro Sanchez, who heads a left-wing coalition, will have to work hard to end eight months of political paralysis in his country.
