Morocco’s King Condemns Houthi Attack on UAE, Offers Support to Abu Dhabi

Following the "heinous" attack perpetrated by the Houthi militia against the territory of the United Arab Emirates, King Mohammed VI had a telephone conversation on Monday evening with Sheikh Mohamed Ben Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
During these exchanges, King Mohammed VI expressed to Sheikh Mohamed Ben Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Supreme Commander of the Emirati Armed Forces, his full support and strongly condemned this attack on the territory of the United Arab Emirates.
The king is all the more saddened, as this attack was directed against innocent people and civilian facilities. While presenting his sincere condolences to the Emirati authorities and people for the loss of life, Mohammed VI expressed his wishes for a speedy recovery to the injured. He also reiterated "the firm support of the Kingdom of Morocco for all the measures taken by the United Arab Emirates to defend their territory and the tranquility of their population in the face of the heinous attacks of the Houthi militia and its supporters".
In conclusion, the Moroccan sovereign reassured Prince Sheikh Mohamed Ben Zayed Al Nahyan of Morocco’s constant support, which will not back down "to provide all forms of support to this brotherly country for the defense of its national security and the protection of its citizens".
