The Ministry of Justice has denied rumors of layoffs of officials from its department.
The modernization project of the courts is a state project under the direction of King Mohammed VI, said a statement from the said ministry.
According to the ministry, the project is still linked to the institution and not to individuals. It also stressed that it is continuing the implementation of the project, with all the material, human and logistical means, since the launch of the national dialogue to reform the judicial system.
Regarding the alleged layoffs, the same department said that this is not the case. It also added that the minister since his appointment, has rather renewed his trust in the officials and invited them to improve the quality of services in the Justice sector.
As for the alleged dismissal of the Director of Studies, Cooperation and Modernization, the ministry denied this and stated that the person concerned had rather wished to be relieved of his duties.
