Morocco Ranked Among Safest Travel Destinations for 2025, Risk Map Shows

Morocco stands out as a safe destination for travelers in 2025, according to the "Risk Map 2025" published by Safeture and Riskline, two references in the analysis of travel-related risks.
This map, which assesses the risk level of each country based on criteria such as security, crime, health and environmental risks, places Morocco among the only three African countries with a "low" risk level, alongside Namibia and Botswana, according to this study cited by H24info.
This ranking places the Kingdom in the same category as nations like France, the United States, Spain or the United Kingdom. Yet, the African continent presents a contrasting picture in terms of security. While Morocco is doing well, other North African countries like Mauritania, Libya and part of Algeria are classified as "critical" risk.
Globally, the safest destinations, with a "negligible" risk, are notably Canada, Iceland, Australia, Germany and Switzerland. This mapping of global risks allows travelers to prepare their trips with full knowledge of the facts.
