King Mohammed VI’s Beach Retreat: Royal Summer Vacation Sparks Preparations in Al Hoceima

Preparations are currently underway in the city of Al Hoceima in anticipation of the arrival of King Mohammed VI for his summer vacation. The visit is expected to take place in the coming weeks, after the ceremonies of the Throne Feast.
The arrangements are focused on the royal residence located on the "Bouskour" beach, within the commune of Aït Yzmouren. The latter is presented as the sovereign’s preferred vacation spot, in contrast to the official residence located near the Mohammed VI square, in the city center, confirm sources at Rue20.
On the logistical level, the first units that accompany the royal movements have already arrived in Al Hoceima. In addition, a delegation from the Ministry of the Royal Protocol is expected on site shortly to oversee all the preparations for the visit.
Regarding the schedule, the sources indicate a probable arrival of the sovereign between the first and second week of August. It is expected that the king will be accompanied by the Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan as well as other members of the royal family during this summer stay.
