Morocco Issues Weather Alert for Heavy Rain in Southern Provinces

Several Moroccan regions will be affected by bad weather, according to an alert just issued by the General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM).
In an orange alert bulletin, the DGM states that the precipitation, which will be between 20 and 40 mm, will affect the provinces of Chtouka Aït Baha, Taroudant, Tiznit, Sidi Ifni, Tata and Guelmim. These weather phenomena are expected until 11:00 PM this Monday, November 18th.
This is the second alert issued by the DGM in a single week. Last week, it had issued an orange alert bulletin concerning several Moroccan provinces, particularly in the north of the country, regarding strong winds, as well as precipitation and snow in some mountainous regions.
