Morocco Issues Orange Alert as Heatwave Sweeps Across Multiple Regions

The thermometer will rise in several Moroccan regions, the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) has just indicated in an orange vigilance alert.
Temperatures are expected to reach 37 to 42 degrees in the regions of Béni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Khénifra, Settat, Rehamna, Youssoufia and Chichaoua, starting tomorrow, Saturday, and until Monday.
This heat wave will also extend to the provinces of El Kelaâ des Sraghna, Marrakech, Moulay Yaâcoub, Fès, Meknès, Taounate, Sidi Slimane, Khemisset, Sidi Kacem, Errachidia, Zagoura, Tinghir, Tata and Aousserd, it is further indicated.
