Morocco Braces for Intense Heat Wave with Temperatures Soaring to 46°C

A heat wave is expected until Wednesday, July 24 in several Moroccan regions, with maximum temperatures ranging between 42 and 46°C, announced the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
In an "orange" level alert bulletin, the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM) announces a new heat wave in several provinces of Morocco, expected until Wednesday, July 24.
Maximum temperatures ranging from 42 to 46°C are expected during this period in the southern regions of the Kingdom, specifically in the provinces of Tata, Zagora, Assa-Zag, Es-Semara and Errachidia, the DGM said in an alert bulletin.
The same heat wave will affect the provinces of Taounate, Ouezzane, Taroudant, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Khémisset, Khouribga, Settat, Fez, Sefrou, Chichaoua, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Marrakech, Moulay Yacoub, Rehamna, Youssoufia, Fquih Ben Saleh, Meknes and Khenifra from Monday, July 22 to Wednesday, July 24, the DGM bulletin added.
