Morocco Invited to 2024 Copa America Following AFCON Disappointment

The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) would have invited Morocco to participate in the Copa America which will take place from June 20 to July 16, 2024 in the United States. An opportunity for the Atlas Lions to make Moroccan supporters forget their defeat against South Africa.
The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF) would have received an official letter from the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) to participate in the Copa America which will be held from June 20 to July 16, 2024 in the United States, report the Instagram page Moroccotalksfootball and the X page KoraMaroc.
For now, the FRMF has not yet responded to the invitation, but it is rumored that it would have "set two conditions to CONMEBOL" regarding its participation a week ago. The first: the holding of the Copa America between June and July in the United States. The second: the federation would have wished that the 2024 CAN not be played at the same time as the Copa America. In 2020, countries outside the continent like Qatar and Australia were invited to participate in this continental competition.
If the FRMF accepted the invitation from the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL), it would be an opportunity for the Moroccan team to make Moroccan supporters forget its surprise elimination against South Africa in the round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN Côte d’Ivoire 2023) by achieving good performances.
