Morocco Influencer Rawaa Beauty Sentenced to Prison and Fine

The Moroccan influencer known by the pseudonym Rawaa Beauty has been sentenced to four months in prison and ordered to pay 200 000 dirhams in damages. The court decision follows a complaint filed by those responsible for the « Panoramic » residential project, located in Bouskoura.

According to the project developers, the influencer allegedly entered the site without authorization to record a video. They accuse her of subsequently sharing information on social media that was deemed false, along with defamatory statements about their real estate development.

The sentence was handed down after a hearing following a criminal investigation. In order to recover the compensation amount, the real estate company said it had initiated proceedings to seize the influencer’s assets and bank account.
