In a statement, Mehdi Kabbaj officially announced his decision to drop the proceedings, specifying that he was not claiming any financial compensation. He stated that "money does not repair values" and cannot buy dignity. His approach, he said, is motivated by the desire to preserve family stability and, above all, to protect their children from the psychological tensions related to this open conflict.

This gesture of appeasement comes after a particularly turbulent sequence. The influencer had found herself behind bars following her ex-husband’s complaint, after exposing on social networks the details of their separation and the judgment granting her 720,000 dirhams. Mehdi Kabbaj deplored these defamation campaigns and the "irresponsible violations" online that have complicated the situation.

While the complaint is withdrawn, the ex-husband demands a formal commitment in return. He is asking for ethical guarantees ensuring mutual respect, the safety of the children, and the cessation of attacks on his reputation. While declaring that he is entrusting the "celestial justice" for the moral harm suffered, he indicates that the ball is now in Soukaina Benjelloun’s court, hoping that this episode will serve as a lesson on the management of family conflicts.
