Morocco Hosts International Conference on Medical and Industrial Cannabis Potential

The Moroccan Consultative Association for the Use of Cannabis is organizing, from October 22 to 24, in Tangier, the 1st International Conference on the Therapeutic and Industrial Potentials of cannabis in Morocco.
Under the auspices of the Ministry of Health, this meeting is part of the continuation of the reflections carried out by Morocco with a view to making this sector a profitable sector for the benefit of science but also of the economy by taking the producers out of clandestinity.
At this conference, several Moroccan and foreign researchers, scientists, doctors and industrialists will be tasked with analyzing the therapeutic potentials and industrial uses of hemp, following the adoption of law n°13.21 on the lawful uses of cannabis.
To recall, from May 21 to 23, the same organizers had organized the 1st Moroccan Congress on the Use of Cannabis Derivatives. A platform that allowed to discuss and demonstrate the socio-economic impact of the use of cannabis and its derivatives in Morocco. Several discussion panels made it possible to make recommendations at the end of this congress.
