Morocco Hosts Burkina Faso in Final Friendly Before World Cup Qualifiers

This Saturday evening, Vahid Halilhodzic’s Atlas Lions will host Burkina Faso at the Prince Moulay Abdallah sports complex. A last friendly match that should allow the final adjustments before facing the World Cup qualifiers (Qatar 2022).
After their narrow victory over Ghana on Tuesday, the Atlas Lions will have to show a new face against the Stallions. This small feat has masked the errors observed in many areas of play, recognized by the coach. He will therefore have to change tactics to offer an attractive show to the impatient supporters.
Vahid Halilhodzic, who has a fit squad, will aim during this last match in June to maximize the offensive potential of the Atlas Lions by opting for a system that offers more space to the attackers. The latter having been deprived of the ball during the match against Ghana.
"The Atlas Lions will be able to improve their performance and be better in the second friendly match, and win a second victory," the coach had acknowledged during the post-match press conference.
To this end, Halilhodzic has a plethora of quality players who can liven up the offensive sector. In addition to Hakim Ziyech who could start the match, the coach could line up Botola players such as the winger of Raja de Casablanca Soufiane Rahimi, the striker of Wydad de Casablanca Ayoub El Kaabi or the star of the Egyptian team of Zamalek, Achraf Bencharki.
