Morocco Faces Ghana in Crucial World Cup Qualifier Warm-Up Match

The Moroccan national football team will face Ghana on Tuesday evening, on the occasion of a friendly match in preparation for the World Cup qualifiers. One of the last opportunities for Vahid Halilhodzic and the players to convince on the level of preparation.
Less than 100 days before the start of the first match counting for the World Cup qualifiers in Qatar, the Atlas Lions welcome the Ghanaian team to the Prince Moulay Abdellah sports complex in Rabat, in a friendly match with a World Cup flavor.
An opportunity to play well and make Moroccans forget their last two outings marked by a disappointing draw against Mauritania (0-0) and a narrow victory (1-0) against Burundi, for the 5th and 6th rounds of the qualifiers for the Africa Cup of Nations (CAN).

For the occasion, Vahid Halilhodzic, has insisted on team spirit and homogeneity. The coach hammered to his players that it is together, far from the individuals, that they can win against the Ghanaian team which is full of talented players playing in the biggest European championships.
During this match, which will be marked by the absence of playmaker Hakim Ziyech, playing at Chelsea, the coach will have to count on Inter Milan right winger Achraf Hakimi and many other in-form players. A real test for his choices in September.
