Morocco Coach Halilhodzic Scouts Botola League for World Cup Qualifier Talent

The coach of the Moroccan national football team intends to closely follow the last matches of the Botola. The goal is to be able to identify the players who can be part of the national team.
As he had done for the last CHAN matches, Vahid Halilhodzic has decided to follow the end of the Botola season and in particular the most important matches. He will therefore be at the forefront to follow the match that will oppose Wydad and Raja this Saturday, reports Al Akhbar, which points out that the coach intends to get an idea of the players he can count on for the next World Cup qualifiers.
Sources close to the coach have stated that the next recruits of the Atlas Lions will come mainly from Wydad and Raja, two challengers who are neck and neck for the championship title and who have a considerable lead over the rest of the peloton. Vahid Halilhodzic does not intend to evolve with players in poor form, as he plans to mark international competitions positively.
That’s why he hopes that Moroccan internationals out of contract will go to other more competitive clubs and championships, in order to raise their level of play. He is closely following Euro 2020. His recent statement in support of Didier Deschamps, who has faced fierce criticism after France’s elimination, did not go unnoticed.
He even drew a parallel between what he has been going through for some time in Morocco and what the coach of the French national team has been experiencing since the Blues were eliminated from the competition by losing to Switzerland.
