Morocco to Face Burkina Faso in Key Africa Cup of Nations Warm-up Match

In preparation for the Africa Cup of Nations which will take place from January 9 to February 6 in Cameroon, the Moroccan national football team will face Burkina Faso in a friendly match on January 6 on Cameroonian soil.
The men of Vahid Halilhodzic are highly anticipated at this CAN 2021, given the performances they have shown during the qualifiers for both the CAN and the World Cup. This friendly match against Burkina Faso will serve as a barometer and allow the national coach to make the final adjustments.
Like Morocco, Burkina Faso is one of the teams to watch closely due to the potential and performances of the players who know how to combine commitment, determination and endurance. During the 2022 World Cup qualifiers, the Stallions managed to snatch two draws against Algeria (1-1 in Marrakech, then 2-2 in Blida).
By qualifying for the 2021 CAN, Burkina Faso marks its 12th participation in this continental competition.
