Morocco’s High-Speed Rail ’Al Boraq’ Set to Welcome Millionth Passenger

The National Railway Office (ONCF) has just announced in a press release that the high-speed line "Al Boraq" will soon celebrate its millionth passenger.
According to the ONCF, this feat of the Moroccan TGV is explained by a series of measures that have made the offer interesting and competitive. These include the "greatly reduced travel time, meticulous assistance and services at stations, without forgetting the comfort on board, as well as the remarkable punctuality.
All these assets have quickly made "Al Boraq" the favorite of travelers who have not hesitated to choose this train, launched on November 26 last, to meet their professional and leisure travel needs.
For the ONCF, the symbolic milestone of the millionth passenger to use Al Boraq will not go unnoticed. To this effect, the press release explains that measures are already being taken to organize "an event next week at the new Rabat Agdal station, in order to offer customers and visitors a festive day". As for the millionth passenger, he will be identified automatically, through the sales system which will detect the millionth ticket purchase transaction.
