Moroccan Railways Boost Service for Eid al-Adha Travel Rush

In anticipation of the high influx during the Eid al-Adha period, the National Railway Office (ONCF) anticipates and implements a special transport plan.
In order to meet the needs of travelers during this period, the National Railway Office (ONCF) has scheduled additional trains to reach 240 per day. Other measures have also been initiated for the occasion. First, the increase in the number of seats on trains on the main lines of the rail network. Then, the strengthening of the teams in charge of welcoming and guiding passengers in stations and on board trains. Finally, the improvement of travel conditions through the system of numbered seat reservations on board.
To this end, the Office’s customers are invited to plan their trips in advance, by informing themselves thanks to the information and assistance service. For the occasion, a systematic 10% reduction on ticket reservations, either the day before departure, is available on the commercial website, www.oncf-voyages.ma, or directly at the stations.
Furthermore, to avoid any last-minute discomfort, the customer is invited to buy both the outward and return journeys, or to opt for the various reduction card formulas (up to -30%). They allow to save considerably on the travel budget (’’Jeunes’’ Card, ’’Séniors’’ Card, ’’Attalib’’ Card).
Other substantial reductions are made on the ’’Al Boraq’’ destination or towards the Oriental region. However, the number of trains will be reduced during the two days of Eid, more precisely on August 12 and 13, 2019.
