Morocco’s Health Ministry: Coronavirus Response Plan ’Perfectly Adapted’

The national plan for monitoring and responding to the corona virus remains perfectly adapted to the situation. This is the assurance given by the Ministry of Health.
"The national plan for monitoring and responding to the corona virus remains perfectly adapted to this situation, with its four axes, including epidemiological and medical monitoring actions, early detection and epidemiological and virological investigation, medical care and coordination between all stakeholders," reassures the Ministry of Health in a press release.
In addition to the general hygiene rules necessary for the prevention of airborne viruses, namely: frequent hand washing, covering the mouth and nose during coughing or sneezing efforts, avoiding close contact with patients suffering from respiratory symptoms, the Ministry of Health informs citizens that they do not have to take any additional measures.
"No case of the new coronavirus disease has been recorded in our country to date," the ministry specifies, adding that the virological analyzes to which the three suspected cases identified by the national epidemiological monitoring system were subjected, were negative for the new coronavirus.
