Morocco’s Health Minister Fires Tetouan Hospital Director Over Operational Issues

Health Minister Anas Doukkali has decided to dismiss the director of the Tetouan provincial hospital.
Sources cited by the website telquel.ma claim that this sanction comes after the tour carried out by the minister in the region, during which "certain imbalances that hinder the normal functioning of the hospital" were observed.
"The minister closely observed certain imbalances that hinder the normal functioning of the hospital," continues this source, who specifies that Anas Doukkali also "met the demands of civil society actors and hospital medical staff through measures aimed at improving the hospital’s supply and governance."
Telquel recalls that the visit is part of a tour of the executive led last weekend by Prime Minister Saad-Eddine El Othmani.
