Morocco Halts Highway Maintenance to Ease Summer Travel for Expatriates

The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) has decided to stop maintenance work on roads in order to facilitate traffic during the Marhaba 2022 operation dedicated to Moroccans living abroad.
This decision, which takes effect from June 30, is part of the overall "Total Vigilance Mode" system planned by ADM to welcome Moroccans residing abroad (MRE) under the best conditions and especially to secure and facilitate traffic during this vacation period.
In a press release, ADM stresses that this halt in the maintenance of the national road network also aims to maintain a certain fluidity of traffic on the occasion of the celebration of the Eid Al Adha holiday scheduled for the month of July.
However, the Casablanca bypass motorway between the Tit Mellil toll and the Lisasfa feeder, and the Casablanca-Berrechid motorway between the Sidi Maarouf interchange and the Bouskoura interchange, are not affected by this decision.
