Heavy Traffic Expected on Moroccan Highways for Eid Al Adha and Summer Travel

Due to the celebration of Eid Al Adha coinciding with the summer vacation, the national company Autoroutes du Maroc (ADM) informs motorists that the entire motorway network will experience heavy traffic this weekend.
The increase in traffic will be observed on Friday, July 8 between 3:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., on Saturday, July 9 between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m., while traffic will be dense on Sunday, July 11, between 4:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m., for the Eid return vacation period, warns ADM.
Thus, for greater safety, the company notably recommends that users plan their trips in advance and check the current traffic status by downloading the ADM TRAFIC application, without forgetting to check the remaining balance on the Pass Jawaz and recharge it before using the motorway. The aim is to avoid queues and maneuvers due to the discovery of the depleted balance at the time of passing through the automatic lane.
ADM also advises taking breaks every two hours and checking the condition of the tires, in addition to being vigilant, when passing through areas experiencing an increase in fog or precipitation that reduce visibility and alter the perception of distances.
