Morocco Warns of Heavy Traffic as School Holidays Begin This Weekend

The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) has recommended that users check the traffic status on the occasion of the school holidays that begin this weekend.
"On the occasion of the school holidays coinciding with the weekend, the National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) informs its customer-users that the entire motorway network will experience heavy traffic," ADM said in a statement.
The increase in traffic will be observed this Friday, January 20 between 3pm and 10pm and on Saturday, January 21 between 9am and 1pm, while traffic will be dense on Sunday, January 29 between 4pm and 10pm, for the return period of the school holidays, warns the company.
Thus, for greater safety, ADM recommends that users plan their trips in advance and check the current traffic status by downloading the ADM TRAFIC app, not forgetting to check the remaining balance on the Pass Jawaz and recharge it before using the motorway.
ADM also advises taking breaks every two hours and checking the condition of the tires, in addition to being vigilant when passing through areas experiencing an increase in fog or precipitation that reduce visibility and alter the perception of distances.
