Morocco Braces for Heavy Traffic as School Holidays Approach

The National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) calls on motorists to be cautious and anticipate the upcoming school holidays. The Moroccan motorway network is indeed preparing to welcome a significant flow of travelers.
ADM expects traffic peaks this Friday, between 3pm and 10pm, and Saturday morning, from 9am to 1pm. On Sunday, February 2, 2025, the day of return from the holidays, traffic is also expected to be heavy between 4pm and 10pm.
Faced with this influx, the company invites users to carefully prepare their journeys. "For a safe and comfortable journey," the ADM press release states, it is advisable to check the traffic situation in real time thanks to the ADMTRAFIC mobile application.
Before taking to the road, it is also better to check the weather conditions. In case of rain, wind or fog, vigilance is required. ADM also recommends taking a break every two hours and checking the condition of your tires. The use of the emergency lane should remain exceptional, reserved for cases of extreme necessity.
Finally, ADM reminds motorists with a PASS JAWAZ to check their balance and recharge it if necessary. For more convenience, it is possible to buy and recharge your JAWAZ in the service area shops. A toll-free number, 5050, is available to users for any additional information.
