Morocco Braces for Heavy Traffic as Aid Al Mawlid Holiday Approaches

On the occasion of Aid Al Mawlid Annabaoui, the National Motorway Company of Morocco (ADM) recommends that its users organize their trips in advance and inquire about traffic developments.
In a press release, ADM states that the entire motorway network will experience very heavy traffic from Friday to Wednesday, according to the following schedules:
• Friday, October 15, 2021 between 3pm and 10pm
• Saturday, October 16, 2021 between 9am and 1pm
• Monday, October 18, 2021, between 3pm and 10pm
• And Wednesday, October 20, 2021, which will coincide with the return from vacation, between 4pm and 10pm.
For a safe and comfortable trip, ADM invites its customer-users to organize their trip in advance and inquire about the current state of traffic, by downloading the ADM Trafic application.
It is also a matter of checking the remaining balance on the Jawaz Pass and recharging it before taking the highway, taking breaks every two hours and checking the condition of the tires.
Finally, to be vigilant when passing through areas experiencing an increase in fog or precipitation that reduce visibility and alter the perception of distances, reduce speed, maintain the safety distance and turn on the necessary vehicle lights even in broad daylight.
