Casablanca-Berrechid Highway Expansion Progresses: 60km Project Reaches 33% Completion

The work to widen the bypass highways of Casablanca and Casablanca-Berrechid is progressing at a sustained pace. The progress rates of lot 2 and lot 3 are 33% and 22% respectively.
The Moroccan Motorways Company (ADM) has provided news on the progress of the work on the tripling of the Casablanca-Berrechid highway and the Casablanca bypass, particularly the last two lots, 2 and 3.
The work concerns a length of 60 km from the Mohammedia bifurcation to the Berrechid motorway node, passing through the Lissasfa bifurcation, the ADM recalled in a press release, specifying that the cost of the project amounts to 2 billion dirhams.
After the completion of lot 1 in 2021, the work on lots 2 and 3 is progressing despite the difficulties on the site, particularly in terms of managing the very high road traffic on these road sections, the company explains. Thus, the progress rate of the work on these two lots stands at 33% and 22% respectively, it is specified.
