Morocco vs. Guinea World Cup Qualifier May Relocate After Coup

When and where will the match between Morocco and Guinea take place, after the missed appointment in Conakry? The coach of the Atlas Lions does not rule out the possibility that this match could be held in Morocco.
Initially scheduled for this Monday, September 6, 2021, the match between Morocco and Guinea, which is part of the 2022 World Cup qualifiers in Qatar, was postponed by CAF due to the military coup that took place on Sunday in Conakry.
In the confusion, the Atlas Lions returned hastily on Sunday evening. For Vahid Halilhodzic, this match could be played in Morocco. "The match is already canceled. I was told about the possibility that the match be played in Morocco, but I don’t know anything about it," reports L’Équipe.
He also stressed the strong mobilization of the Moroccan authorities to allow the delegation that traveled to Conakry to return to Morocco.
