Morocco’s Government Officials Donate Salaries to Earthquake Relief Fund

Moroccan ministers have just decided to donate one month’s salary following the terrible earthquake that Morocco experienced on Friday night into Saturday.
In addition to the ministers, the deputy ministers, high commissioners, general delegate and ministerial delegate will also donate one month’s salary for the benefit of the Special Fund for the management of the effects of the earthquake, created this week with Bank Al-Maghrib.
As for civil servants and state and local authority employees and public companies classified on scale 9 and above, they have decided to contribute one day’s salary for 3 months, i.e. September, October and November.
